I began my path as a bodyworker at The American Institute Of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. I am so grateful for the depth of gifts that touching others has given to me. I have been practicing since 2006 and absolutely love bodywork.
I also practice Energy Work for people who want a more energetic experience. I am a Reiki Master Teacher and was trained by Maggie Hardin and Katherine Leon. Maggie was a great friend (Reiki Master & LMT) of 25+ years. I learned Reiki 1 from her. She told me that there were gifts lining up outside the door for me. I have graciously accepted those words and it has been so true. Katherine was a Reiki Master that belonged to the Ojibwe tribe in Wisconsin. Her knowledge was invaluable in my experience. Nurturing and patient in teaching me the flow and love in energy work. I obtained my Master training from her.
My practice is a trauma sensitive practice. What this means is that I work with clients to offer the safest possible experience in my treatment room. It involves communication between myself and the client to help establish goals and instill safety and a calm environment for the treatment. Helping to comfort trauma is a calling and has been for many years. I am honored to provide a space for any human to come and experience peace and safety even if it's just an hour a month, in my space.
I also provide a very therapeutic form of massage called Neuromuscular Therapy (aka trigger point). I use various forms of therapeutic modalities to offer my own individual type of massage. I treat everyone as an individual and believe that every treatment is unique to my clients.
